Maryland Electrical License Renewal

It’s inevitable: as technology advances, regulations and codes adapt to reflect new developments. To enhance your knowledge and prepare you for the next step in your career, further training is a must. M.S. Electrical Training offers a wide range of professional, state-approved courses to help you attain your license renewal quickly and without hassle. We recognize how important it is for you to maintain your business, and our instructor Marty Schumacher is committed to your ongoing success.

In Maryland, 10 hours of continuing education is required in order to receive your electrical license renewal. Customarily, 5 of those hours must take place in the classroom. However, all ten hours can currently be completed online due to COVID-19. This license must be renewed every two years, so it’s a good idea to make preparations in advance. The state of Maryland will send you a notice 60 days prior to your license’s expiration date, but that time can go by fast. If you are seeking a Maryland electrical license renewal, we recommend that you complete the required training as soon as possible.

Our Course Offerings

All of our continuing education courses are designed to be convenient and stress-free. That’s why we let you work from home, on your own time. Our classes can be completed online via a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone. They are also reasonably priced, ranging from only $50 to $75 per course. In a matter of hours and at little cost, you can obtain the training needed for your Maryland electrical license renewal.

  • Understanding the 2017 National Electrical Code (3 hours)
  • Changes to the National Electrical Code, 2020 Online (3 hours)
  • Changes to the National Electrical Code, 2020 Online (5 hours)
  • Understanding the National Electrical Code (5 hours)

In each class, students will learn about all the most up-to-date changes and regulations in the industry. All students must complete three modules for each course followed by a 10-question test. A 70% score is required in order to pass; however, you are allowed two attempts. If you are unable to pass after two tries, more opportunities are also available to you.
