You will need a 2017 or 2020 NFPA 70 code book ( for the MD Exam), basic calculator, booklet for notes and a highlighter(s). MD is currently testing on the 2017 NEC, but is expected to begin testing on the 2020 NEC in early 2022. Be sure to go to PSIEXAMS.COM and prepare your application.
Journeyman’s Electrician Exam Prep
This 24 hour course will prep you for the Journeyman's Electrician Exam. Syllabus: Definitions, box fill, pull boxes, services, feeders, branch circuits, grounding & bonding rules, wiring methods, wireways, transformers, motors, appliances, emergency systems and swimming pools will be discussed. Practice questions will be supplied and test taking strategies will be covered plus much more. You will need a 2017 NEC (not the handbook) along with Mike Holt's, Exam Prep workbook. Check with the jurisdiction on the exam code year. MD and its counties are currently testing on the 2017.
