Sydonia Garrott
Sydonia Garrott, P.E. is the senior fire protection engineer at Howard County Maryland. She received a B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2007. Sydonia has worked as a Fire Protection plans examiner since 2007 and received her Professional Engineering License in 2011. She has served on the Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Fire Code update committee and is an active member in the Maryland Building Officials Association and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. Sydonia served in the fire service in Colorado for West Douglas County Fire Protection District for 6 years and for College Park Volunteer Fire Department in Prince Georges County Maryland for 4 years. Sydonia currently resides in Ellicott City Maryland.
